History of the company GASTI Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH until merging:

1900
The company was founded under the name of Ganzhorn & Kling,
and manufactured filling and dosing machines

1916
The activities were continued under the company name Ganzhorn & Stirn and the brand name GASTI

1948
Production restarted, and GASTI manufactured filling and closing machines
for tin cans and tubes

1962
The company moved from Steinbach to their new site in Hessental

1970
They developed their first yoghurt filling and closing machine

1981
Ganzhorn & Stirn was taken over by Rheinmetall AG

1982
GASTI became member of the Jagenberg AG

1993
Construction of the new administration building in Hessental

2000
Jagenberg AG sold GASTI to IWKA AG

Home coming of production to the former production plant in
Schwäbisch Hall, Raiffeisenstraße 8

2007
Odewald & Compagnie - a German investment company - acquires the packaging division from the IWKA AG.
